I see trees.

They float by me
as I float through life.
Psychedelic images of the tree on fire
that never burns.
My heart weeps,
my eyes sing.
These floating images
are complete, yet crude and unrefined.
I am at a standstill in life.
My feet point one direction,
my hands another.
Yet my eyes seek a different horizon.
My heart reaches for dimensions unknown,

well, my car is legal! this is a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders. now i don't have to stare into the rear view mirror every time i am behind the wheel of my car. ahhhhh!
hehe… billy lost his front tooth… i love that kid so much! i got a big hug for the little spongebob thing i got him. these are the things that make life good.
ooh… good weekend planned. barbecue, greek food festival (yum) and new hope.

life has just gotten about a billion times brighter!!! my title, which my loan company managed to send to the wrong address 3 times, finally got it right! it came in the mail today, so i should be able to get legal tomorrow!!! oh joy! so as it turns out, i'm going to need that day off after all. yippee!
oh yeah, i paid off my car in AUGUST!!! i'm this excited for a damn good reason.

the most fabulous thing just happened. my boss called a little while ago to basically give me tomorrow off. apparently the phones have been really busy so she needed to know if i'd be in tomorrow or if she needed to get a temp. i said that i would be there and she asked if i was sure. she said that she understood if i needed some more time off. i called back ten minutes later and told her that she should go ahead and get a temp for tomorrow “just in case.” i figure, since i'm not going to be with this company for too much longer, i may as well take the rest of my sick days now.

still sick, but getting much better.
hacking, sniffling, and wheezing, but at least i don't feel like death anymore.
i was worried about calling out of work again. i expected to get all sorts of attitude, but instead i received empathy. i was quite relieved.
i've been alternating between reading, cleaning and watching tv. it's a lot better than lying on the couch and groaning. i don't do well as the patient.

antibiotics, an inhaler, and sudafed. they even took chest x-rays. so much for this being allergies!
